Contact

A “Contact” page for an affiliate marketer should be user-friendly and include the following elements:

  1. Introduction: A brief welcoming message that encourages visitors to get in touch for any inquiries, suggestions, or feedback.
  2. Contact Form: A simple and easy-to-use contact form that asks for the visitor’s name, email address, subject, and message. Ensure that the form is GDPR compliant and includes a privacy notice. All form plugins work with Popcorn, we suggest using one that is light on features to keep your site super quick. Contact Form 7 is a great start, but you may have to style manually. Check out the WordPress repository for other alternatives.
  3. Email Address: Provide a direct email address for those who prefer to contact you without using the form.
  4. Phone Number: Optionally, you can include a phone number for direct calls, if you’re comfortable sharing this information.
  5. Physical Address: If applicable, provide a physical business address. This can add credibility and is sometimes required for certain affiliate programs.
  6. Social Media Links: Include icons or links to your social media profiles (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) so that visitors can connect with you on different platforms.
  7. Business Hours: If you have specific hours when you are available to respond to inquiries, mention them here.
  8. FAQ Section: Consider including a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section to address common queries, which can save both you and your visitors time.
  9. Privacy Policy: Include a link to your privacy policy, particularly highlighting how you handle the data collected through the contact form.
  10. Response Time: Set expectations regarding response time. Let visitors know approximately how long it may take for you to get back to them.
  11. Map: If your physical address is relevant to your affiliate site, consider embedding a Google Map or similar to show your location.
  12. Live Chat: If applicable, you can include a live chat option for immediate assistance.
  13. Accessibility: Ensure that your contact page is accessible to people with disabilities by using clear fonts, high contrast colors, and providing alt text for images.
  14. Call-to-Action (CTA): Encourage visitors to reach out and assure them that their queries are valued. Use one of the Popcorn CTS Patterns.

Having a well-structured and informative contact page can enhance the credibility of an affiliate marketer and facilitate better communication with your audience.
